Driftwood
Build a cozy floating city on a drowned world. Rescue, sail, trade and explore.
The great waves came after the Skyfall, and the world drowned. You wake up on a handful of planks with nothing but a hook and a hat. Catch what floats. Rescue the people drifting past. Build your raft into a floating city.
Build a city that sails
Lay decks on the open sea, raise them level by level, and fill them with homes, galleys, workshops, gardens and lanterns. Everything has weight: spread out heavy machines or put them on pontoons, or your city sits low in the water.
Look after your people
Every survivor has a name, a skill and traits. Some are hard-working, some are grumpy, some can't stand the sea. Give them good homes, hot meals and evenings at the tavern, and they'll work happily, fall in love and raise families.
Sail a drowned Earth
Set your course across a map of the old world: mountain-top towns, a mining town on an oil rig, lighthouse keepers who still light the lamps. Barter for what you can't make, help each place with its great need, and earn their trust. Grow crops for every climate, and watch out for storms, doldrums and dust rain.
A story you can find, if you look
Silent islands, a ghost ship turning circles, the wreck of your own ship, and old cables on the seabed that still whisper the world's last messages. None of it interrupts you: it waits out at sea for when you're curious.
